Hurtigruten?s new ?Flavour of Norway? packages offer a short polar adventure that includes sailing past some of Norway?s most scenic fjords, mountains and islands.
The new five-day trips include scheduled flights from Gatwick to Troms?, where passengers will enjoy a three-course meal in a local restaurant, before boarding their ship, heading southwards to Bergen.
There are a multitude of experiences and activities on offer, from heading out to sea with local fishermen in the Lofoten Islands, to joining a mountain hike that promises spectacular views over the fjords or exploring Trondheim?s impressive Gothic style Nidaros Cathedral. On arrival in Bergen there is time to take a stroll through the city?s UNESCO-listed Bryggen district with its charming colourful wharfs, before flying back to Gatwick.
Daily departures are on offer from April 7 to October 4 and prices start from ?745 per person on a choice of dates, based on two sharing an inside cabin on a full board basis. Flights, transfers and a three-course dinner in a local hotel on arrival in Troms? are also included, and options to extend the trip in either Troms? or Bergen are also available.
