Warwick Castle launches deluxe glamping for summer

From May 24 to August 31, visitors can experience a night under the stars in one of the 41 tents, designed exclusively for the castle, from ?200 per night for a family of up to six. To celebrate the 1,100th anniversary of the castle in 2014, the Glamping Village has been extended to include three luxury King?s Tents in addition to 38 Warwick Tents and a Great Hall banqueting tent.
Each King?s Tent features a four-poster bed and two wooden-framed single beds, two thrones, an oak storage chest, a large table with chessboard and a suit of armour. Guests are provided with all bed linen, in-tent power and Wi-fi.
All 41 tents are roomy enough to walk about and stand up inside, feature electric lighting, and are furnished with waterproof wooden flooring, sheepskin throws with scatter cushions, storage and a mirror. Separate toilet and shower facilities are also provided.
Breakfast is included and served in the Great Hall banqueting tent ? as is a daily Medieval Dinner Feast for an additional charge of ?16.95 per adult and ?7.95 per child.


An overnight package includes a two-day priority entrance Castle family ticket to Warwick Castle worth ?69; a continental or cooked traditional breakfast; two-day car parking worth ?12; and free evening medieval entertainment such as Have-a-go Archery, Knights? School and Jesters? School.
