Discover Egypt unveils 2018/19 Nile cruises onboard new M/S Tulip

Discover Egypt is introducing a new ship to its fleet, the M/S Tulip with weekly departures starting in September from £897 per person, including direct flights to Luxor.

The seven-night cruises start and end in Luxor and visit many of Egypt’s top ancient sights including the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, the High Dam at Aswan and the Unfinished Obelisk. There is also an optional excursion to Abu Simbel costing £85 by coach or £255 to fly.

Each cruise includes ten guided excursions accompanied by an Egyptologist to reveal the history behind these magnificent monuments. Guests also enjoy a trip on board a Felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat and can add an evening trip to see the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple (approximately £28.00 per person).

The M/S Tulip has been completely refurbished and features contemporary themed cabins each with a panoramic window and balcony rail offering scenic views. There are 40 standard cabins, plus eight upper deck junior suites that also offer an outside terrace and two single cabins that have no single supplement.

The ship features a large sun deck, swimming pool, sauna and small fitness suite, along with a Deck bar, lounge bar and main restaurant.

The first departure is on September 3 with weekly departures available through to December 2019.
