WTM Virtual: Antigua remains open to UK tourists and looks ahead to 2021

While many countries have shut their borders and are enforcing quarantine restrictions, the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda have continued to remain open for business and are keen to keep on welcoming tourists from the UK later this year, or early next year.

Antigua has managed to keep the number of COVID-19 cases on island down, with a total of 3 deaths and 124 cases to date. Health and safety are the top priorities for the islands which have introduced a number of strict protocols that must be adhered to by both residents and visitors alike. The full list of protocols are available here: https://visitantiguabarbuda.com/travel-advisory/

Work in paradise with Antigua?s Digital Nomad Residence

Antigua and Barbuda have launched its new Nomad Digital Residence (NDR) Programme. The new NDR programme is designed for those who can meet the requirements of their employers, clients and colleagues while working abroad. Those who take advantage of the NDR, can live and move freely through Antigua while benefiting from the islands? no personal income tax status stay for up to two years. The programme provides some much-needed space and recuperation following a turbulent 2020.

Antigua ? a socially distanced haven

Having launched its ?Space in the Sun? campaign earlier this year, Antigua is the ideal getaway for those looking to holiday safely and continue practicing social distancing. Home to 365 beaches and crystal Caribbean waters, Antigua is a naturally designed socially-distanced haven.  With delicious fresh fruit, seafood and an array of expansive resorts to choose from Antigua is the perfect island escape.

What?s in store for 2021?
