Severin?s The Alpine Retreat, Lech shares winter plans

Severin?s The Alpine Retreat, a luxury boutique ski hotel on the outskirts of Lech, has released its events schedule for winter, including The Lech Food Festival, Disco? Gondolas, The White Ring Race, Lech am Arlburg Music Festival and Lech ?Wine in the Gondola? Festival, falling between December 2020 and April 2021.

The hotel has nine suites with wrap-around balconies, sitting rooms, open fires and state-of-the-art sound systems, while amenities include a basement pool, steam rooms and saunas and private wine cellar.

For groups of eight, a private residence, with a grand piano, a fully equipped modern kitchen, a vast sitting room and dining area and a private cinema, along with a spacious hot tub is available.

Gastronomical experiences include the Chef?s Table, the Skidoo Fondue, The Alpele Menu or The Lech Food Festival, which is one of the highlights this year, scheduled to take place from December 4-6. The festival will showcase the best local produce, such as cheese, traditional regional wines and flavoured gin. Tastings will be complimentary for Severin?s guests, along with a tour of the town.

The Chef?s Table comprises a taxi ride to an old schoolhouse in the neighbouring village of Zug, where guests will be treated to multiple fine-dining courses, showcasing the region?s cuisine and produce. The Chef?s Table can be booked by guests at Severin. 

Guest can book a skidoo trip to a mountain hut, to enjoy Austrian fondue; with the option of cooking the beef, veal or king prawns themselves, or opt for a Chinese broth, a venison ?Hunters? fondue, or a traditional cheese, wine and cherry-brandy recipe.
