The MSC Grandiosa has started week-long sailings in Italy

MSC Grandiosa is currently doing seven-night cruises, with sailings in the Italian ports of Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples and Palermo, plus a calling at Valletta, Malta.

MSC Magnifica is scheduled to return to service from October 19, with ten-night cruises, that will start in Genoa and will be calling in at Livorno for Florence and Pisa, Messina in Sicily, Valletta in Malta, Piraeus for Athens, Katakolon for Olympia in Greece and Civitavecchia for Rome, before returning to Genoa.

"While British & Irish guests are currently unable to sail with us due to restrictions applied by the respective countries, MSC Cruises are ready to welcome British and Irish guests whenever the FCO advice allows. We have been working with CLIA and the rest of the cruise industry to ensure that when Brits are able to sail again with us that the timing is right and any return for British and Irish guests to our ships will be aligned with CLIA," said an MSC spokesperson.

MSC cruises has launched a video detailing all the new boarding processes with the new protocols in place. To watch the video, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX2F2X6qkN4&feature=youtu.be
