Braemar cruising past Mount Etna low res

Fred. Olsen unveils its new handcrafted Croatia and Italy voyage

The new cruise will join the cruise line's 2022 programme.

Fred. Olsen has announced a new voyage, to join other sailings in the cruise line's 2022 programme.

The Braemar will set sail on a 27-night Adriatic voyage in October 2022, showcasing the hidden gems and well-known icons of Croatia and Italy's coastal paradise.

Head of destination experience and itinerary planning, Martin Lister, explained: ?The Adriatic is a real treasure, rich in history and culture all ready to be explored. From the walled cities of Split and Dubrovnik and the fortress city of Kotor to the canals of Venice and Chioggia, there are many tales to be unravelled. There are also many natural wonders to be enthralled by, from the cascading Skradinski Buk Waterfall of Croatia?s Krka National Park, just a stone?s through from Sibenik, to scenic cruising by Stromboli, a still-active volcano which juts from the Mediterranean, and of the fjord-like Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. What makes this cruise even more exciting is that so much of it is made possible by Braemar?s smaller size, allowing us to sail much closer to the heart of these incredible destinations and visit places that would otherwise not be accessible.?

The 'Discovering the Adriatic' cruise, departing from Southampton on October 23, 2022, starts at ?4,199 per person, calling at Southampton, C?diz, Stromboli, Gallipoli, Kotor, Sibenik, Venice, Chioggia, Split, Dubrovnik, Monopoli, Cartagena, Lisbon, Leix?es, Avil?s, Spain.

The sailing is one of five 2022 ex-UK cruises released in advance of Fred. Olsen's main 2022/23 ocean cruise programme.
