Florida's Paradise Coast looks ahead to welcoming British holidaymakers

The resort will be even more accessible following Aer Lingus new Manchester to Orlando direct service.

Following Aer Lingus' announcement of a new direct service from Manchester Airport to Orlando International from July 29, 2021, Florida's Paradise Coast will be even more accessible to UK & Irish holidaymakers travelling from the north of England.

Just over three hours' drive from Orlando towards the Gulf of Mexico, the Paradise Coast offers 30 unbroken miles of soft white beaches, outdoor adventure and natural wilderness. Comprised of Naples, Marco Island and the Everglades, the destination offers a variety of choice from family-friendly breaks to romantic luxury seclusion.

The UNESCO-certified Everglades National Park and neighbouring Big Cypress National Preserve are ideal for nature-lovers, with a number of bird-watching, wildlife-spotting or forest-trekking excursions available.

Jack Wert, Naples, Marco Islands, Everglades CVB executive director, explained: "Commitment to the health and safety of our residents and visitors is our number one priority, and in 2020 we launched the Paradise Pledge. This initiative is dedicated to welcoming back visitors to a safe and healthy environment.  Local businesses throughout the destinations have taken the Pledge and implemented strict measures to ensure the highest standard of hospitality and experiences were in place."
