Finnair adds new 'Business Light' ticket type

Finnair has boosted its business class travel options with a new 'Business Light' ticket type to offer increased flexibility and choice for customers.

The 'Business Light' ticket provides the perfect option for leisure travellers keen to travel light and fast without being burdened by heavy baggage in the comfort of the Nordic carrier’s Business Class.

The new ticket deal offers a slimmed down travel option to include carry-on baggage, customers can further tailor their experience by adding lounge access or onboard internet access.

The Finnish flag carrier has also renewed its existing ticket types - Light, Classic and Flex - all of which are available on Business and Economy short-haul routes, as well as most intercontinental flights.

Finnair customers can select their preferred cabin class as well as the level of flexibility they need to make changes to their ticket.

Ole Orvér, Finnair chief commercial officer, commented: “There is an increasing need to personalise the travel experience, and our new ticket type offers Business Class customers fantastic additional choice.”

“We want to provide our customers flights which work for them, and so we will be introducing even more choice and personalisation in the future as we restart our routes and prepare to ramp-up our operations,” added Orvér.
