WTM 2021: ANTOR prepares for the return of live events

The association will be celebrating its 70th anniversary with a host of events at World Travel Market next week. 

ANTOR is returning to WTM this year, with a number of its members hosting activities to mark the association's 70th anniversary.

On November 1, 2021, ANTOR will host its first conference of WTM 2021 - a virtual panel on 'Rebuilding Tourism Globally', which attendees can watch on demand on WTM's virtual platform. 

In-person, ANTOR chairman Tracy Poggio will be found at the Gibraltar stand, EU348.

Other ANTOR members will be hosting conferences, tasting sessions and photo opportunities throughout the event.

The Greek National Tourist Office (GNTO) is hosting a lunch at 12pm at the EU110-EU150 stand. 

The Egyptian Promotion Tourist Board will be keeping attendees in the loop about activities taking place for the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb and other new developments at stand SG14.

On stand AS520, at 11am, Sri Lanka will host an opening ceremony for the opening of its stand.

Israel is hosting a daily wine tasting at 2:30pm at stand EU1150, with Jerusalem following up with bagels, olive oil and zaatar tastings at 3pm/

At stand AS560, Korea will host a photo zone, where attendees can snap pictures with a cardboard cutout of tourism ambassador Son Heung-Min, and try on traditional handbook and costumes from the Netflix series 'Squid Game'. 

Another photo zone will be available at stand AF235, as Morocco offers agents who take a video in the 360-degree video booth and tag Visit Morocco in their social media posts the chance to win one of two MacBook Pros. 

Finally, Japan will be briefing agents on the Connect Me app platform, running through 2022 highlights, sustainability and accessibility, and a list of stand sharers.

At WTM Virtual, agents will have even more opportunities to meet ANTOR members, including Montserrat.
