Princess Cruises has confirmed that Enchanted Princess, the fifth in line among the Royal-class ships, has successfully completed sea trials.
The ship, which has enhanced features and amenities, set out for its ten-night maiden voyage to Rome on July 1, while calling at Bilbao, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Barcelona, Toulon/Provence (La Seyne) and Florence/Pisa (Livorno) along the way.
After going through a series of test manoeuvres, it is now back in the Fincantieri shipyard for further finishing.
The ship is scheduled to depart for a Caribbean cruise in autumn 2020. It will be a seven-day Mediterranean and Aegean voyage, departing September 12, 2020. It will sail from Rome (Civitavecchia) to Athens, calling at Naples, Kotor, Corfu, Chania and Mykonos.
