NYC & company is encouraging visitors to take advantage of the holiday season's hidden treasures in addition to the well-know events through the city's five boroughs.

Annual winter events include the 86th annual Macy's Thackgiving Day Parade, The New York Botanical Garden's Holiday Train Show and Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular.
Meanwhile, the company has unveiled new fact sheets for both consumers and the trade, available to download from its Website, the first of which highlights Long Island City in Queens.
The company's senior vice president Fred Dixon said: "There's been an expansion of hotels all across the city which has brought new product and price point to the market and the trade need help in selling these areas. That is why we decided to launch the new fact sheets, which highlight hotels and cultural attractions as well as other information, and act as a toolkit for agents selling to clients looking for value and affordability."
Agents can also access the company's 'Save the Date' planning tool, which offers the best dates on hotel value and availability to clients.
