Holiday Autos has launched a new, dynamic and fun online training programme for agents to increase agent sales.

The guide has been created to provide travel agents with tips and tools in order to help them gain a greater understanding of the benefits of selling car hire. It is hoped that the all-new approach will excite agents, give them increased confidence in selling car hire and guide them through the selling process. 

The guide also aims to explain the rewards of selling car hire to agents and how it relates to their customers – not only increasing sales but the average value of each travel booking. It is divided into nine sections: · Why sell Holiday Autos car hire? · How to sell Holiday Autos to your customers · Vital things to check in the sales process · When to sell Holiday Autos to your customers · Overcoming objections · Essential information to cover with customers · Definitions explained · A guide to pre-paid extras · and quick test questions.

Once the training guide has been completed, agents will be able to download and print off a certificate. In addition, there is a section covering key destinations across the globe with details of the top three places to see and top three places to drive to in each. This will give agents extra collateral in the selling process.

There are also free, downloadable training resources in PDF format including pricing options, common FAQs, online solutions and a 'contact us' document.

The company's head of trade sales, Sandra Downs, said: “We are committed to providing travel agents with useful advice and techniques to help them sell car hire more effectively. We have overhauled our training programme to give the guide a quirky design, making it engaging and easy to use. We also have a dedicated UK trade sales team that will be happy to help answer any questions and a handy team profile to refer to in the Online Training Guide to help you get to know our team a little better.”

Agents that complete the training before April 30 will be in with the chance of winning up to £2,000 worth of prizes; including an iPad 2 and a number of High Street gift vouchers up to the value of £1,500.
