Winter escape: Enjoy an Icelandic adventure with Super Break

Super Break has announced an expanded programme of getaways to North Iceland from 16 UK airports, which will run until March 15.

The short-break specialist is offering holidaymakers from the UK the opportunity to discover this part of the world and go genuinely off the beaten track with three- or four-night Arctic experiences.

The new break includes an option allowing holidaymakers to combine five-star accommodation with delicious cuisine that includes brewery tours, tastings and a visit to a local farm to try fresh dishes, all combining for an indulgent escape.

Holidaymakers can also choose from a variety of activities from a wilderness escape that will bring them closer to nature through to visits to the Myvatan Nature Baths and Sigurgeirs Bird Museum.

For customers who prefer to explore northern Iceland at their own pace, Super Break's 'Freedom of North Iceland' break will allow them to do just this. The deal is available with car hire, including unlimited mileage.

Chris Hagan from the company said: "We're thrilled to announce our expanded programme of getaways so that more people than ever before can experience the magical destination.

“Akureyri is an amazing destination and we take pride in offering the very best bucket list activities for holidaymakers across the UK to experience on this trip of a lifetime."
