Warner Leisure Hotels is offering a Bee Keeping for Beginners Experience, and reports that sales for 2010 are already up 32% on the same period last year.

For a supplement of £35 per person, guests will learn the basics of beekeeping from a apiarist, meet a few of her ‘flying friends’, hear about beeswax and candle making, and sample some honey.

The experience is available at Alvaston Hall in Cheshire and Littlecote House in the Cotswolds. Three night breaks at Alvaston Hall cost from £234 per person on April 16, 2010 and an Orient Express to Cardiff Castle Experience costs an additional £325 per person.

The company’s other new experiences include a Psychic Development Experience – a workshop designed to fine tune personal intuitions and provide an insight in to psychic channeling, clairvoyance, psychometrics and mediumship, available at Alvaston Hall for a supplement of £95; plus Crystal Workshops, Murder Mystery Night, Nordic Walking Introduction, Royal International Air Tattoo 2010 Show, Sheep Herding and Turkish Bath Visits.

All breaks include breakfast, lunch and three-course evening meals, en-suite accommodation and a range of daytime and evening leisure activities and entertainment.
