Virgin Holidays has introduced a package that offers film fans the chance to take in the filming locations for this year’s biggest flicks in a coast-to-coast tour of the US.
Guests will experience a three-city tour of the east coast, visiting Boston; New York, where guests will stay in the financial district to see the setting for ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’; and Washington DC.
After six nights on the east coast, guests will fly to the Deep South to explore New Orleans and Dallas to experience a historic plantation stay in Louisiana and life on a working ranch in Texas, to get a feel for the filming locations of ‘12 Years a Slave’ and ‘Dallas Buyers Club’.
On the West Coast, guests will stay two nights in Anaheim to experience Disneyland, before heading north for a long weekend in Los Angeles for the trip’s grand finale. While in Tinseltown, guests will stay on the Sunset Strip and explore the city’s movie heritage by visiting locations such as the Kodak Theater, home of the Oscars and the Hollywood ‘Walk of Fame’, before going celeb-spotting in Beverly Hills.
The 19-night, eight-stop tour includes room-only accommodation, Virgin Atlantic flights from Heathrow, internal flights and car hire.
Prices start from £2,799 per person, based on two adults sharing and a departure date of September 17.
