UTracks is adding more than 40 new trips to its brochure for 2012, including more options for families, new bike and sail itineraries, lesser known regions such as the Sierra Nevada in Spain, Meteora in Greece and remote parts of Sicily, as well as a selection of trips in Morocco, the operator's first destination outside of Europe.
Designed for people who want to take the ‘paths less travelled’ rather than tick off tourism spots or spend all holiday on the beach, the company's itineraries range between two and 15 days, with prices starting from £160 per person. As examples, highlights for families include four new itineraries, from Croatia’s Dalmatian chain of islands and the rock formations in Cappadocia to Switzerland’s alpine landscapes and the Dolomites in Italy. Many itineraries are suitable for children from six years old, while special discounts are usually available for kids under 12. Five new itineraries have been added to the company's Sail and bike (or walk) around Italy options, including the classic destinations of Venice, Sicily and the Amalfi Coast. Meanwhile, Morocco is a new edition for next year with four new trips including visits to the High Atlas mountains, the Sahara desert, traditional Berber villages and Marrakech.
Prices include accommodation, most meals, equipment rental, guides, luggage transfers between hotels (where applicable) and maps with images. Flights are not included but can be booked on request. For more information call 0845-241 7599 or see www.utracks.com
