Universal Orlando has announced that it will be adding a new Diagon Alley attraction to 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' next summer.
Guests will be able to travel from 'London' to Hogsmeade on the Hogwarts Express and will be able to experience a range of shops and restaurants as well as the 'Leaky Cauldron' and Gringotts Bank.
Meanwhile, the Simpsons' hometown of Springfield is now open, featuring a new downtown area with eateries such as Krusty Burger and an outdoor attraction based on the show's evil alien duo, Kang and Kodos.
The theme park has also announced that its 1,800-room Cabana Bay Beach Resort is now available for booking for stays from March 31 onwards. The 50s and 60s-style resort offers value-priced guest rooms and moderately priced family guest rooms, and facilities include two pool complexes, a ten-lane bowling alley and a two-storey reception building that will also be home to a food court.
Prices start from £840 per person for a seven-night stay at the resort with Virgin Holidays, including flights with Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick, room-only accommodation and car hire, based on a May 22 departure.
