United Airlines has announced that it will commence a new non-stop service between Heathrow and its Houston hub, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, from March 31, introducing United Global First on the route for the first time. From April 2, the carrier will operate three daily services between the two cities.


The additional flight departs Heathrow daily at 13:35, arriving in Houston at 18:10 the same day. The return flight departs Houston daily at 20:30, arriving at Heathrow at 12:05 the next day. Journey times will be ten hours 35 minutes westbound and nine hours 35 minutes eastbound.


The flights will be operated using Boeing 767-300 aircraft with a total of 183 seats – six in United Global First, 26 in United BusinessFirst and 151 in United Economy, including 67 Economy Plus seats with added legroom and increased personal space.
