Tucan Travel introduces two new tours in Turkey

Tucan Travel has launched two new group tours in Turkey, with departures starting early next year.  

The adventure travel operator will be tapping into Turkey’s growing popularity, with the destination recording more 30 million visitors last year. The operator’s tours look to combine the country’s beauty, culture and history, combining included touring with enough free time in each location for travellers to enjoy Turkey in their own way. The tours also use local guides, who have expert knowledge on the places visited and local recommendations.

'Highlights of Turkey' is an eight-day trip starting from £899 with departures twice a month from January 2019. It includes three internal flights; a highlights city tour of Istanbul with visits to the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and Topkapi Palace; Pamukkale and the UNESCO world heritage site of the city of Hierapolis; the ancient city of Ephesus’ and Cappadocia - famous for its scenery where holidaymakers can also take a hot air balloon ride.

'Turkey in Two Weeks' is a 15-day tour starting from £999, with departures twice a month from April 2019. The trip focuses on the highlights of the west of the country with a trip to Cappadocia too. Travellers can make use of the local buses to keep the price point low and will get the opportunity to visit Gallipoli and Troy on guided tours and walk part of the famous Lycian way and visit a unique hilltop ghost town.
