Treyn rebrands as Rail Discoveries

York based rail holiday tour operator Great Rail Journeys Ltd. has undergone a brand review of its sister company Treyn, and has unveiled the new Summer 2015 programme with its new look logo, brochures and website to launch Rail Discoveries.

The new website (www.raildiscoveries.com) aims to help on-line visitors explore the Rail Discoveries destinations and make a selection from their largest range of holidays with a new programme of 6 worldwide tours, 17 new tours in Europe & the UK, 5 new Fly : Rail tours and 3 new rail cruises.

The range of destinations include a 15 day Highlights of Vietnam & the Mekong Delta tour with a journey the length of Vietnam along the Reunification Express, 9 day Discover Beijng Xi?an & Shanghai and 11 day India?s Golden Triangle & Shimla Extension. Three new North American tours, California & the Golden West, Best of the East Coast and Canadian Rockies & Vancouver make up the new worldwide adventures portfolio. All include a programme of excursions and sightseeing tours as well as free time to explore.

Also new for 2015 are special interest tours such as Royal Gardens of Germany and Chateaux & Gardens of Dordogne and an extended range of all-inclusive holidays such as The Mont Blanc, Catalan Coast and Glacier Express. An extended portfolio of product ancillaries and enhancements including luggage handling services, afternoon Eurostar departures and connecting UK rail and UK hotels have all been introduced.

The rebrand was managed by Julia Newiss, Head of Marketing who said, ?We used research all through the rebrand process, from customer focus groups to online surveys, but we knew that the final decision for the new name and brand needed to be made by our customers. Rail Discoveries and its new logo design was the most popular choice, with 64% of those surveyed choosing it as their preferred brand?.
