Travel Network Group demonstrates further commitment to member events

This week The Travel Network Group is announcing to members a more comprehensive list of workshops, seminars and forums than it has ever undertaken before. This includes its first Luxury Cruise Seminar, taking take place on September 15 at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham.

The Luxury Cruise Seminar is a newly developed event which will give members an opportunity to meet with high-end cruise operators to discuss their business needs, as well as further develop their product knowledge. Cruise companies operating in this sector that have already signed up to attend the seminar include Regent, Seabourn, Silversea and Uniworld.

More than 20 Engage, Energise and Evolve workshops days have been added to the group?s events activities which will take place in Bristol, Birmingham, Woking, Belfast and Leeds in the latter part of 2016 and beginning of 2017.

At these one-day events members can receive practical training on social media, database segmentation and customer profiling, helping them use new techniques to attract new customers.

On November 13 the group?s annual Evolve Cruise Conference will take place in the Midlands, and feature ?Innovation in the 6 Star Cruising Sector? as one of its key plenary themes.

Si Prentice, group marketing director, commented: ?Our members get real value from the meetings and events we host each year and over the next 12 months we are planning to stage more than ever. From one-day workshops taking place at our HQ in Woking to overnight stays at our conferences and Business Partner Forums, we always achieve a high level of attendance and great feedback from members saying how productive and value-adding they find them.

?We are now offering a comprehensive annual programme of marketing workshops, seminars, conferences and webinars, but we are always on the lookout for new ideas for events where members can add to their learning and business partner relationships. We?ve already had a lot of members sign up to attend the new Luxury Cruise Seminar, and members are literally asking us every day if we have secured next year?s main conference destination, which we are hoping to announce in the very near future.?
