UTracks is promoting a six-day Transylvania Castles and Mountains tour, which runs until October 10. The tour explores Romania's mountain landscapes and includes a ridge walk on the Piatra Craiului (meaning ‘royal stone’) to offer views along a series of gorges and ridgetops. The Bucegi mountains, home to a diverse range of landscapes, is where Bran Castle, connected through folklore to the fictitious character, Dracula, can be found. The tour costs £420 per person including accommodation, most meals, equipment, baggage transfers and maps and departs daily. Flights are not included but can be arranged on request.
