Transun has launched a new Arctic whale-watching package, allowing agents to sell a rare wildlife travel experience.

The package includes a trip to see large pods of humpback and killer whales in Tromso, Norway in November and December, where they gather to feast on shoals of migrating herring in the Arctic fjords. The itinerary also includes a Northern Lights snowmobile safari and a husky sledding experience.

The three-night trip costs from ?1,099 per person based on two sharing, with a four-night version of the break also available.

Specially chartered flights depart from six regional airports including Gatwick from November 19 until January 2014.
