Trafalgar is expanding its multi-generational travel offering for 2017 with the launch of a new destination and family itinerary in South Africa.

Beginning with a family safari tracking the ‘Big Five’ in Kruger National Park, and finishing in Cape Town, the operator’s new 13-day ‘South African Adventure’ will venture to the southernmost tip of Africa with the chance to see ostriches, monkeys, penguins and perhaps even a glimpse of the Southern Right Whale.

Guests also have the opportunity to meet and speak to children in a Cape township and see how the Amy Biehl Foundation (a Join Trafalgar charitable initiative) is working to make a difference to their future.

Prices start from £4,425 per person, with a Young Traveller Discount of £440 per child under 11 years, including 12 nights of four- and five- star hotel accommodation, 12 breakfasts, 12 dinners and nine lunches, sightseeing, travel director, coach transportation with complimentary Wi-Fi and airport transfers. Departures begin in February 2017 and run until August 2017.

The operator is also offering families the chance to save up to 10% when they book early and pay in full by January 27, 2017 for Europe and South Africa itineraries.
