An ideal bolt-hole to explore the Swiss Alps, Gstaad is an alpine playground suitable for all ages. Until December 15, the resort in the Bern Canton is offering a ‘Three Generations Package’ for holidaymakers in search of an affordable break with their extended family.
It includes bed-and-breakfast accommodation in a selection of three-, four- and five-star hotels with parents paying 100% of the room rate, grandparents paying 50% and children up to 16 years staying for free.
For a small supplement, guests can choose to stay on a half-board basis and include the GSTAAD easyaccess card in the package, where mountain railways, various other public transport services, as well as different leisure activities are included.
A two-night break leads in at approximately £372 in a three-star hotel and approximately £791 in a five-star hotel, based on a family with two grandparents, two parents and two children for a minimum two-night stay.
