The theme for this year?s ACE Cruise Convention, which takes place on May 1 and 2 in Southampton, has been revealed as ?Think Differently?. As part of a conference designed to help travel agents increase their cruise sales, delegates will be asked to question how they approach business from both a mental and physical perspective.

The association's director, Andy Harmer, said: "We have created a line-up of speakers and sessions that will challenge and inspire delegates to sell more cruise holidays. I believe that this year, more than any other, we need to ?Think Differently? so that a cruise stands out as the obvious holiday choice with its exceptional value and variety.? On leaving the convention, agents will have key advice and tips to help them boost their sales, particularly by encouraging new to cruise customers."

Business sessions will include the significant growth of ex-UK cruising with predictions suggesting that within three years more people will join their cruise in a British port than take a fly/cruise. Other topics include the growing appeal of European river journeys and expedition cruising together with a session on the productive use of social media.

On the second day, delegates will have the opportunity to visit two cruise ships out the four lined up in Southampton - Cunard?s Queen Elizabeth, P&O Cruises? Adonia, Princess Cruises? Grand Princess and Royal Caribbean International?s Independence of the Seas.

Agents are encouraged to book now before registration increases to ?75 on March 30.
