Taj Hotels unveils Tajness brand philosophy

Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has unveiled Tajness, the group?s new operations philosophy for the future that seeks to draw inspiration from its Indian heritage and blend it with local cultures to deliver an exceptional level of sincere care at its 100 hotels around the world.

The Tajness experience will focus on delivering a consistent service, and provides a taste of Indian tradition mixed with authentic local experiences.

Sensorial touch points are key to the brand experience and several elements will be consistent across hotels, including the delicate fragrance of jasmine, the active and passive music in public and private areas and the attire of Taj associates.

Signature rituals will be put into practice across all hotels to guide the guest?s journey, from the moment of arrival which starts with the local traditional welcome rituals. The rituals allow guests to enjoy gentle yoga in the morning, afternoon tea that pays homage to local tea traditions and atmospheric sunset ritual that light the way into evening.

The concept will be rolled out across all the group?s hotels in India and internationally on a phased timeline with completion scheduled at the end of 2017.
