Taber Holidays has given its summer 2014 brochure an overhaul, creating a fresh, more retro feel to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
Featuring the operator's most popular tours, the 68-page brochure is its largest yet and offers new itineraries across Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Each holiday has a dedicated double page spread featuring ‘must do’s, such as a visit to a local chocolatier and a trip to view the Midnight Sun from North Cape, as well as snippets of information about each destination.
New tours include an ‘Arctic Wonders’ option featuring Tromsø and Spitsbergen; ‘The World of Hans Christian Andersen’, a self-guided celebration of the Danish author; and a combined tour of Gothenburg and Bohuslän, including a stay in Sweden’s first floating hotel, Salt and Sill.
As an example of prices, an Arctic Wonders tour in Norway leads in at £1,635 per person and spends three nights in the capital Tromsø, before flying to Spitsbergen.
Highlights include boat trips to the Russian mining settlements of Barentsburg and Pyramiden and the Esmark and Nordenskiold Glaciers. Guests can also try their hand at dogsledding on wheels in an optional excursion from £88.
Prices for the seven-night trip start from £1,635 and include flights from Heathrow, breakfast accommodation and two boat trips in Spitsbergen. Departures are daily from May 29 to September 30.
