Agents whose customers are looking to indulge in a luxury break to Norway this summer are being urged to consider a new ‘Lyngen Alps and Tromsø’ package from Taber Holidays.

The seven-night fly/drive trip is based at the Lyngen Lodge, with two nights in the Arctic capital of Tromsø.

Situated in secluded woodland overlooking the snow-capped Lyngen Alps and clear waters of the Lyngenfjord, the lodge provides luxury accommodation and cuisine, catering for 18 guests, and also offers a sauna and outdoor hot tub.

A range of optional nature-based excursions are also available including kayaking, hiking, deep-sea fishing, ice-climbing, horse-riding and mountain trekking.  It is also possible to join a trek under the Midnight Sun.

After spending five nights at the boutique lodge, the trip continues to the city of Tromsø, where accommodation is in the centrally located Rica Ishavshotell in a room overlooking the harbour, where guests can explore the great Arctic capital at leisure over the course of two days.

Prices start from £2,264 per person and include flights from Heathrow to Tromsø, via Oslo, car hire with unlimited mileage, five nights at the Lyngen Lodge with breakfast, packed lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, two nights at the Rica Isvhasvhotell with breakfast and transfers.

The package is based on two sharing and departs daily between June 12 and September 30.
