Taber Holidays has launched a number of new itineraries across Norway, Sweden and Denmark from May to October.
As an example, a seven-night The World of Hans Christian Andersen itinerary in Denmark leads in at £1,036 per person. Starting in Odense, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen, guests will get the chance to visit a museum dedicated to the author, while in Copenhagen, a visit to Tivoli Gardens is next on the itinerary.
The price includes seven nights’ breakfast accommodation, flights from Heathrow to Copenhagen and the return rail journey from Copenhagen to Odense. The price is based on two sharing and there are daily departures from May 1 to September 30.
Alternatively, an Arctic Wonders tour in Norway costs from £1,635 per person and takes travellers to the capital, Tromsø, before flying to Spitsbergen, exactly halfway between Norway and the North Pole and well-known for its polar bears, walruses, arctic foxes and puffins. Included are boat trips to the Russian mining settlements of Barentsburg and Pyramiden and the Esmark and Nordenskiold Glaciers.
Prices for the seven-night trip include flights, breakfast accommodation and two boat trips in Spitsbergen. The price is based on two sharing and the tour departs daily between May 29 and September 30.
Meanwhile, the operator has unveiled its newly designed website which features scrolling video footage, larger images, links to social media and a more prominent search function which allows searches by destination, season and holiday type and new categories such as places offering unique accommodation.
