Taber Holidays is showcasing a combination of city and coastline in its new ‘Sweden’s Arctic Contrasts’ break from £1,495 per person.
Guests will spend the first two nights in the town centre of Luleå with its cosmopolitan atmosphere. Included on the second night is an ice concert in the Ice Concert Hall where musicians will entertain with their instruments made entirely from ice.
Also included is entrance to the spa at the Clarion Hotel Sense where guests can enjoy a Japanese bath, sauna or dip in the pool.
The next two evenings are spent at the Pine Bay Lodge, overlooking the archipelago. Included here is an evening snowshoe walk into the forest with dinner around an open fire and a day-time snowmobile trip to an idyllic fishing village where guests can try their line into the icy waters to catch their lunch.
Transfers between the town and archipelago include a stop at the UNESCO World Heritage listed Gammelstad Church Village. The price is based on two sharing and includes flights from Heathrow to Luleå via Stockholm, accommodation with breakfast, a ticket for the ice concert, entry to the Clarion Sense Hotel spa, guided snowshoe walk and snowmobile safari.
