Spring deals for groups at Greenwich attractions

As examples, Old Royal Naval College is offering a new package including a behind-the-scenes tour of the 140-year old Skittle Alley and Jacobean Undercroft, as well as the Painted Hall and Chapel. The tour, including lunch, costs from ?19.50 per person.

 

Themed tours are also offered including ?maritime history?, ?architecture and royalty? and ?movies and ghosts?. The National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory offer guided group tours where visitors can learn about current displays, as well as the history and significance of the attractions. The one-hour guided tours cost ?75 for groups (up to 15 people for the Royal Observatory tour and up to 20 for the National Maritime Museum.)

Art Deco Eltham Palace and Ranger?s House are joining forces to offer a combined guided tour. The 'Glitz and Glamour' package includes a tour of Ranger?s House, an elegant Georgian villa in Greenwich Park and Eltham Palace, the childhood home of Henry VIII. It costs from ?14 per person for groups.

Meanwhile, group visitors to London?s only Planetarium can expect to see astronomical displays and learn all about planets, cosmic gas clouds, comets and shooting stars. Parties of ten or more pay group rates of ?5.20 for adults and ?3.60 for children at the Peter Harrison Planetarium.

For groups who want to explore Greenwich on their own terms with the help of knowledgeable guides, specialised walks can be arranged by the Greenwich Tour Guides Association. The guides will design a walk that fits the specific needs of the group and prices vary depending on the tour route and number of people.
