Following a £10million investment programme, Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath is open for meetings, conferences, events and weddings.

The property offers 94 refurbished bedrooms, including 13 feature rooms in the sympathetically restored Mansion House, a conference room hosting up to 160 guests and a suite of training rooms, plus four boardrooms.

A new Brunel Suite attracts corporate celebrations, award evenings and weddings and offers capacity for 160 guests, a separate bar area and conservatory.

In addition to the four boardrooms, other areas newly opened in the restored Mansion House include a new fine dining restaurant, Cloisters, three lounges and a conservatory bar.

With the restoration project now complete, the Grade II hotel has reopened to officially become part of Hand Picked Hotels, bringing the total number to 20 hotels across the UK.

The four-star country house setting also offers an ideal backdrop for weddings, with the hotel holding a licence for marriages and civil partnerships.

Couples who book a wedding at the property by December 30 can take advantage of an early bird package priced from £75 per person. It includes one glass of sparkling wine for the reception drink; a selection of three canapés; a three-course wedding breakfast; half bottle of house wine per person; a glass of Champagne for the toast; room hire for the wedding breakfast and drinks reception; a personal Toastmaster and a complimentary bedroom on the night for the wedding couple.

General manager of the hotel, Jonathan Squire, said: “We are attracting a lot of interest in our wedding offering. The hotel is in a stunning location overlooking Bath and also close to motorways and good transport links – so perfect for couples getting married with families from outside Bath.

"We also have a variety of different spaces, so can accommodate celebrations both large and intimate, as well as competitive package prices."
