A series of destination-based films about sustainable travel are to be created in a new partnership between the Travel Foundation and greentravelguides.tv

The aim of the partnership is to create more short, professionally made videos as part of training for travel agents to help bring the work of the charity and its supporters to life.

The films will also be geared towards promoting greener tourism to consumers and to highlight the positive work being done in different holiday destinations around the world.

The charity's chief executive, Sue Hurdle, said: “All our feedback shows that video is one of the best ways to get the message across about our destination-based projects. By showing how real people, who rely on tourism to make a living, can benefit from the work we are doing, we hope front line staff will feel more confident talking to customers about sustainability in travel.”
