The Saint Lucia Tourist Board has unveiled a new brand positioning, to be rolled out next month. 


The campaign, 'Elevated Experiences' carries a 'Lift Your Senses' theme, that has been designed to evoke an emotional response and lift visitors’ five senses - sight, taste, hearing, feel and smell, by promoting the plethora of activities available to holidaymakers on the island. 

Activities highlighted in the campaign range from watersport options, including 'snuba' - a combination of scuba diving and snorkelling, to rainforest walks, sunset cruises, sailing and health and wellness options. 

A new website and brochure will also be announced to tie in with the launch of the new campaign.

The tourist board's director of tourism, Louis Lewis said: “From strategy development through to execution, the ‘Lift Your Senses’ campaign truly captures what sets Saint Lucia apart from other Caribbean destinations in a way that we believe will differentiate our island in an extremely crowded competitive set.”

The tourist board reports that it saw an increase of 10% in visitors for January and February this year compared to 2012, and is confident that it can sustain this percentage increase and hit its target of 80,000 UK visitors for 2013.
