Travel 2 has re-launched its website and now offers time-saving improvements introduced in response to feedback from the trade.

Most demanded was the new ‘packaging tool’ which gives agents the ability to create and book a complete package in one search.

In addition, the website offers agents discounted pricing on flights and hotels, and a further discount on flights of £10 per passenger has been introduced for the launch.

  Other features include:

Ability to create, store and email a quote on holidays, flights and hotels

A live support ‘instant messenger’, offering immediate assistance and guidance when searching or making bookings online

13% commission on packages booked online

Australian Visas arranged online free of charge as part of the booking process

T2 Rewards, the new reward scheme

Travel 2’s managing director, Andy Freeth said: ‘As a trade-only tour operator, we wanted to make life easier for our agent partners therefore we implemented significant changes during the whole redesign of the website.   ’There was considerable demand for a trade-only tour operator website that had the ‘x- factor’ and usability of popular consumer sites, and we’re confident agents will find doing business online with Travel 2 even more of a pleasure. The feedback so far has been fantastic; agents simply love the new Travel2.com.’

‘We also want to reward the frontline staff and our new agent incentive scheme, T2 Rewards does just that!’

Another key feature is ‘Find an Agent’. If any customers go onto travel2.com, they will not be able to book, instead they will be directed straight back to their local independent agent.

‘Find an Agent’ allows them to search for their local agent by postcode.

To celebrate the re-launch, Travel 2 will be running incentives over the next three months for bookings made via Travel2.com, including the opportunity to win a car, holiday to Dubai, an iPad plus Love2Rewards vouchers.
