Regent Seven Seas announces additional Cuban voyage for 2019

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a second immersive Cuban voyage after its first, introduced last month, quickly sold out.

On March 12-22, 2019 Seven Seas Voyager will sail to the Caribbean island and pull in to four Cuban ports of call, three of which are overnight stays in Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos, plus a maiden call to Isla de la Juventud. Following the popularity of this cruise and to meet demand, the cruise line has added a new ‘Cuban Exploration’ sailing aboard Seven Seas Mariner taking place from October 22 to November 1, 2019. This journey will include a full day and evening in Havana, and overnight stays in Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos.

Jason Montague, president and CEO of the cruise line, said: “Luxury travellers are demanding to experience Cuba in a deeper, more meaningful and culturally-relevant way. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is moving rapidly to meet this demand. Regent was the first North American luxury cruise line to sail to Cuba, and now we are offering luxury travellers truly immersive Cuban experiences in unique ports around the island in March and October 2019. We are excited to make these additional Cuban destinations beyond Havana accessible to luxury cruisers and their travel advisors.”

The ten-night Cuban Exploration voyage is roundtrip from Miami and all-inclusive fares start at £5,089 per person. This includes flights, transfers, unlimited shore excursions, Wi-Fi, fine wines and spirits and a host of other amenities.

In addition to these two Cuban exploration cruises, the line offers approximately 20 voyages that also call on Havana through 2021.
