Regent adds new Cambodia Water Festival tour for 2015

Regent Holidays has launched its new 2015 brochure which includes a number of new additions, including the 14-day Cambodia in Depth tour, with the chance to celebrate like a true Cambodian at Phnom Penhs Water Festival Bon Om Touk in November.

The tour begins in Phnom Penh with a city tour and a visit to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum accompanied by a survivor of the facility. Guests will also explore the Royal Palace (which houses the Silver Pagoda) and visit the National Museum.

The itinerary then travels north to Banlung passing through several villages, including those of the Tampou people, before taking a bicycle and walking tour of the town.


Highlights of the tour include a visit to Angkor Complex, a collection of historically important temples and an excursion to the Bon Om Touk Water Festival, which celebrates the reversal of the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers with the change from wet to dry season.


Prices lead in at ?2,495 per person based on a November 5 departure. It includes flights, half-board accommodation, transfers and a guide.
