Ranch Rider is introducing a new 30-day mobile horseback adventure to its Africa collection.

The Epic Namibian Safari covers the Namib Desert and Damaraland, with many of the locations visited inaccessible by any other mode of travel. In the final stages riders will head from Wolwedans to Luderitz with saddle free days and activities included.

A combination of some of the most popular routes to date, the one off departure is scheduled for May 6 2016 and is suited to experienced and intermediate equestrians. Travellers also have the opportunity to book sections of the safari on request.

In addition, the operator is featuring horse riding holidays suited to all levels of riders in South Africa at luxury safari lodges, cattle farms and tented campsites in its collection. As an example of packages, prices at Camp Davidson start from £700 per person for two adults sharing and from £380 per person aged five to 16 years including four nights ensuite tented accommodation with safari style bucket hot showers, meals, drinks, riding safari, use of facilities and taxes. The price excludes transfers of £170 per person from Johannesburg.
