Rainbow Tours has added new tours to its programmes for Brazil and Peru.
The latest addition to Peru is an eight-day Northern Routes Peru trip, which is aimed at those interested in history and culture, and leads in at £1,965 per person.
The trip includes time exploring Lima as well as visits to ancient sites such as the Sun and Moon temples near Trujillo; Chanchan, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest pre-Colombian city in South America; and visits to archaeological sites at Sipan and Tucume, while based at Chiclayo. The price includes flights, transfers and accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis with some lunches included.
The operator has also added a 13-day itinerary that offers a chance to visit some of the most iconic destinations in Brazil and Peru. Priced from £3,155 per person ‘Peru and Brazil Made Easy’ is an ideal trip for first time visitors to the region, covering the ‘must see’ highlights of each in one trip.
The price includes flights, breakfast accommodation, excursions and transfers.
Meanwhile, the company's new Vibrant Rio, Historic Salvador and Iguazu Falls itinerary introduces visitors to some of Brazil’s most iconic and varied sights. Guests stay on Copacobana beach and spend time exploring the city. Also included is a jeep tour and visits to Corcovado (home to the statue of Christ the Redeemer), the Tijuca Forest and Iguazu Falls, spending time on both the Brazilian and Argentine sides.  The eight-day itinerary costs from £1,599 per person and includes breakfast accommodation, transfers and excursions. Flights are excluded but can be booked through the operator.
