Quark Expeditions issues Antarctica 2016/17 dates with new itineraries

Quark Expeditions has expanded its itineraries in Antarctica for 2016/17 with a penguin safari and nine fly/cruise options for time poor clients. The new itineraries focus on a range of activities and time-saving Antarctica fly/cruise.

Highlights of the season include nine convenient Antarctic Express fly/cruise voyages to cater to travellers looking to experience the best of Antarctica in less time, including three, eight-day Fly the Drake departures. Prices start from ?7,100 per person based on a twin cabin.

A 16-day South Georgia and Antarctic Peninsula: Penguin Safari is also available, with visits to South Georgia?s famed king penguin rookeries, historic whaling stations including the final resting place of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, with prices from ?10,500 per person based on a twin cabin.

The company is offering up to 25% discount on bookings made by September 30 and solo travellers on Ocean Endeavour can also benefit from no single supplement on selected cabins.
