Princess Cruises will welcome the arrival of Royal Princess to its fleet in June 2013 followed by Regal Princess in 2014.
During this time the cruise company says it is looking to continue building successful relationships with travel agent partners and to see consistent growth within the UK cruise market.
Princess Cruises has been working with travel agent partners and a new simplified system has been developed to make it easier for agents to see the earning opportunities available to them and allow commission payments to be made earlier.
The air and groups commission earning opportunities have been replaced with an increased base rate of commission.
Therefore a consistent 10% rate of commission will be paid for all bookings made on 2014 departures. These changes will be effective from Thursday March 14, 2013 to coincide with the new 2014 Mediterranean and Scandinavia programme going on sale.
The company is in the process of contacting travel agent partners to communicate these new commercial terms.
Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises UK director, said, “Princess has already received a fantastic response from our agents. We look forward to continuing a successful relationship with our existing agents and welcoming new partners to the Princess brand in what is a very exciting couple of years for us, with the introduction of Royal Princess in June and welcoming Regal Princess in 2014.”
