Philippine Airlines has announced that from September 19 a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will serve its London to Manila route.

The move comes as a way to enhance the travel experience of its customers and to increase capacity, with 42 seats in Business Class and 328 in Economy versus the 254 seats on the current A340.

The new 777 Business Class provides offers 78 inch pitch seats which adjust into full-flat beds with each seat featuring an 18.4 inch personal TV screen, a retractable privacy divider, in-seat power supply to charge via mains or USB and an ottoman that opens to reveal a personal storage area.

Economy Class now offers a wider seat pitch of up to 34 inches and adjustable leather headrests. 11 inch touch-screen personal TVs and built-in USB ports.
