River expedition company, Pandaw, has announce that it will become the first operator to explore the rivers of the Arakan region in Western Burma. 


A series of seven-night expeditions will operate weekly from October 2, 2015 and will take guests into the heart of one of the most interesting areas of Burma on the RV Katha Pandaw, a replica of the original 19th century Irrawaddy Flotilla Company boats. 

The Ancient Arakan expedition will visit a range of sights best accessed by river, and prices lead in at £1,866 per person based on two sharing for seven nights, including all food and drink, gratuities and all shore excursions.
