Butlins reported a 15% increase in year-on-year sales with February half-term breaks being snapped up his year and the company reaching near capacity on all three of its beachside resorts; Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness.

The company says that its success is attributed to ongoing investments, which have totalled nearly £110million since 2003.


This year a further £10million is being invested into the refurbishment and improvement of accommodation and facilities across its resorts. As examples, at Minehead 12 specially designed gold apartments featuring four bedrooms have been introduced, ideal for extended families and larger groups of holidaymakers.

Meanwhile, new self-service dining rooms are being introduced at Minehead and Skegness resorts. The new premium dining restaurants while two additional Activity Gardens are being created at Minehead and Skegness.

The areas will feature a range of activities for family entertainment including high ropes, beach courts, sport arenas, go karts and junior driving tracks.
