Nostalgia breaks drive booking growth for UK rail tours

This year the brand says that its area of fastest growth has been for its new UK tours which includes??Vintage Railways of the Isle of Man?, with departures between May and?September 2011.

 

The itinerary starts with a ferry journey from Heysham to Douglas, where the seafront Claremont Hotel is the base for a holiday that incorporates sightseeing on the Isle of Man Steam Railway, the Snaefell Mountain Railway and the Manx Electric Railway. The six-day tour costs from ?545 per person. In Europe, the company has expanded its options in Germany ? including trips incorporating the National Garden Show in Koblenz, as part of a themed ?Gardens of the Rhine? itinerary ? with five days from ?395 per person in the Treyn programme.
