Norwegian puts nearly 500,000 seats on sales to the US

Norwegian has released a record number of seats for holiday-seeking Brits looking to jet away this summer to the US.

A total of 425,000 seats are now available on the carrier?s direct flights between the UK and US, which include its two latest low-cost destinations ? Boston and San Francisco-Oakland, with fares from ?135.

The airline flies direct to seven US destinations on Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with almost 80,000 seats up for grabs to Boston from March 27 and almost 45,000 seats available to San Francisco-Oakland, which launches on May 12.

Popular family-favourite flights from Gatwick to Orlando also return this summer with 35,000 seats from ?199 one-way.

The carrier?s chief commercial officer, Thomas Ramdahl, said: ?This year will be our breakout year as Brits are seeing the value of our affordable flights to popular European and US destinations. So whether you want to fly to Southern Europe or Southern California, the increased number of affordable seats will make it easier than ever for Brits to take their dream holiday this summer.?

For Brits looking to stay closer to home, there are more than 125,000 seats available between London and Berlin and 70,000 seats to book for flights to and from Rome.
