Great Rail Journeys has released its latest Winter, Festive & Spring brochure, complete with seven new itineraries to destinations including Sweden, Russia, Italy, England and Germany.
One of five tours to Italy is a new five-day Christmas in the Dolomites option. It includes a visit to Trento Christmas Market, a Christmas Eve feast, Christmas Day in Verona, with a guided tour followed by three-course lunch, and a rail excursion to Bolzano including a guided tour and lunch in a local brewery. The tour departs on December 23 and leads in at ?1,145 per person.
Closer to home, Festive Bath offers a Christmas getaway for four days. With a Christmas Eve arrival, the break includes four-star accommodation, a Christmas Day Bucks Fizz celebratory breakfast followed by leisurely morning and delicious Christmas Lunch.
