Modern Brits will consume 56 alcoholic drinks, have four rows, pick up four local phrases - and moan about being “too hot” eight times on an average two-week holiday abroad.
The survey, which polled almost 2,000 British holidaymakers and was commissioned by autoeurope.co.uk, revealed we will spend an average of £1,863 including everything from flights, accommodation and spending money – as well as fly 2,479 miles to reach the perfect destination.
We will also finish two books, and get half way through a third, as well as spend two-and-a-half hours glued to our mobile phones, iPads or laptops every day – that's 35 hours during the entire holiday.
A further 1.6 hours a day will be spent checking and updating social media including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, while more than a third of Brits sunbathe for three hours on average.
